• We read over 1,500 short plays each year, and select the best writers we can find for our festival, October-Fest.

• Our writers are paid, and their work is shown in front of major venues and literary agents.

• Our live house band plays tracks tailor-written about each piece.

• Tickets are £10, and audience members get discounts on their first drink at the bar.

• We mentor and give feedback to hundreds of writers whose work isn't a part of the show; if your work isn't chosen, we want to be able to help you in a way that matters.

• We are funded by Arts Council England, and were a resident company at The Bunker until its closure in 2020.
